After receiving loads of backlash for not signing a George Russell to partner Lewis Hamilton for 2021, Mercedes will be replacing Bottas with its Mercedes protege George Russell, with the Finn being demoted back to Williams Racing, who currently has the 19th fastest car (or 2nd slowest car behind Haas) ahead of Haas.
